Bluehole (until April 2015 Bluehole Studio, also BHS) is a Korean based developer founded in March 2007 by Chang Byung-gyu with five to six cofounders.[1] Several of the founders were former NCsoft employees.[2] They're the sole developer of TERA, a fantasy massively multiplayer online roleplaying game as well as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

Bluehole Studio established En Masse Entertainment to publish and maintain TERA in North America. PUBG Corporation was later split from Bluehole. In November 2018 companies were rearranged under newly founded parent company, Krafton Game Union.

In September 2017 Chinese Tencent bought 5% of the company. In May 2018 Bluehole was valued at $4.6 billion much due PUBG success.[3]
