Defensive Stance is an active skill that can be learned by Warriors at level 52 and can be ranked up at later levels.

Defensive Stance can be performed with a pair of twin swords by the Warrior to activate a stance. Only one stance can be activated at any given time (the other being  Assault Stance). This stance increases defense stat and aggro from attack. Recommended for use only when tanking.

It is wise to always have a stance activated. Remember that after dying, the stance has to be cast again.

Strength of effect varies dependent on skill rank.

To upgrade Defensive Stance to the next rank, one must find a Tactics Instructor and pay a certain price of gold dependent on rank.

Upon getting level 20, glyph points can be allocated on Defensive Stance. At level 60, a character has 50 glyph points available to spend on all available warrior glyphs. Most glyphs, specifically common glyphs, are learned automatically, while Master Glyphs must be looted from enemies or bought at a Trade Broker.
