Flame Pillar is an active skill used by Sorcerers.
Flame Pillar can be performed with a disc by the Sorcerer to deal a medium amount of damage, It is often used when the opponent is too close. However, the Sorcerer is also rendered immobile during the casting of the spell. Luckily the skill staggers enemy player in PvP, which gives sorcerer just enough time to escape after Flame Pillar is finished.
It has limited use in PVE, mainly due low crit change. It can be used as low damage filler when standing close to boss. It's also marginally useful in handling large group of mobs, since it's AOE skill that damages all enemies within its range with equal force.
Amount of damage dealt varies dependent on skill rank. This amount can be amplified by learning Flame Pillar Intensity. The passive skill gives this skill capability to deal equal damage to all targets hit, which makes it powerful against group of enemies.
Flame Pillar was originally automatically learned by Sorcerers upon character creation. However, as part of leveling skill changes, it's now moved to level 28.
