Leander is a powerful and ranked magister of the Valkyon Federation.
When he heard his older brother, Elleon went missing during the First Expedition, he chose to see what horrors await on the Island of Dawn. He formed the Second Expedition to the island in order to find clues and discover what truly happened.
New quests A New Threat and Confident Support give much more background about Leander. It's mentioned Leander and Elleon are from family of enormously wealthy merchants. Their family's trade consortium is one of the Valkyon Federation's main suppliers. Also they have spend a not inconsiderable amount of money aiding refugees around the world. Their father considers Leander and Elleon "rebels". Their grandparents are still skeptical about this Valkyon Federation, even Fraya was its greatest advocate. Leander's family is also a main contributor to the Sky Cruiser project.
It's also mentioned Leander is expert is demonology.
Legacy[]
Leander had major part in low level Island of Dawn quests. He was found at Leander's Outpost. He is also briefly available at Shrine of Yurian during the quest Traces of Darkness.
However, these quests were cut early in game development. These quests were removed in July 2013 patch.[1] Leander was later found in Tower Base, where he was waiting news of Elleon and researching the World Tree on the Island.
He also appeared in Karascha's Lair after the demon was defeated.
Later developments[]
He is also secretly a member of the Red Raiders, acting as a double agent and promising the Orcans knowledge as can be observed during Guardian Legion mission. What Leander did after that is seen in Dark Reach Citadel and in Grotto of Lost Souls.
