TERA, formerly known as The Exiled Realm of Arborea, is a free-to-play action-based massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) developed by Bluehole Studio and published by En Masse Entertainment in North American and Gameforge in Europe. Its initial release date was January 25th, 2011. Since then, the game has had two major expansions: Rising and Fate of Arun. This wiki acts as a collaborative resource for the game and is edited and maintained by the community it serves. Anyone can become an editor and contribute to this wiki. TERA is an action combat MMORPG where skill, timing and aim truly matter. Players are able to use abilities regardless of target location so positioning is crucial. Advanced enemy AI deliver a much more intense and engaging combat experiance. TERA also has a large open world, PVE, PVP and a questing system similar to what you would expect from a sandbox MMO. With a continuing story, TERA has over 80+ stunningly beautiful zones to explore and the lore continues in the second expansion Fate of Arun. There are seven playable races and thirteen classes.
